Wide Neck Glass Jars
Our wide neck glass jars have a broad opening that makes filling and scooping easy. Sizes include 100ml, 250ml and 300ml wide neck jars and 400ml, 500ml and 1 litre wide mouth jars.
The smaller jars suit body butters, balms, creams and sample portions. The larger sizes hold bulk carrier oils, solid butters, bath salts, clays and dried herbs. Glass is non-reactive and will not absorb smells or leach into what you store, and every jar can be washed and reused.

Using Wide Neck and Wide Mouth Jars
Small sizes: 100ml to 300ml
The 100ml, 250ml and 300ml wide neck jars suit body butters, balms, scrubs and sample portions of bulk ingredients. The wide opening lets you scoop out every last bit with a spatula.
Large sizes: 400ml to 1 litre
The wide mouth jars hold bulk butters, bath salts, clays, dried herbs and large batches of scrub. They are also handy for decanting butters bought by the kilo.
Filling and storage
Use a clean, dry spoon or spatula when filling and scooping, because water shortens the life of oils and butters. Store jars in a cool place out of direct sun. Glass will not absorb smells, so a jar can move from one ingredient to another after a good wash.

Wide Neck Jar FAQs
What is the difference between wide neck and wide mouth jars?
Both have broad openings for easy filling. In our range, the wide neck jars are the 100ml to 300ml sizes and the wide mouth jars are the 400ml to 1 litre sizes.
Can I store body butter in these jars?
Yes. The wide opening makes them ideal for butters you scoop by hand.
Will the glass hold onto smells?
No. Glass does not absorb odours, so a clean jar can be reused for a different ingredient.
