Glass Cosmetic Jars, 30ml to 100ml
Our glass cosmetic jars are small capped jars in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes for creams, balms, body butters and salves. They suit travel portions, product samples and gift sets.
Glass does not react with oils or essential oils, so it will not change the texture or scent of what you store. The jars are easy to clean and can be refilled again and again. Keep them out of direct sunlight to help oils and butters last longer.
Fill them with our body butters, or see wide neck jars for bigger batches.
Using Glass Cosmetic Jars
Which size to choose
The 30ml jar holds a travel portion of cream or a lip balm batch. The 50ml size suits face creams and salves. The 100ml jar is a practical size for body butter, foot balm or a gift.
Filling with melted balms
Pour melted balms and butters into the jar while still liquid, and leave them uncovered until fully set, so condensation does not form under the lid. For whipped butters, spoon them in and tap the jar gently to settle the mixture.
Keeping products fresh
Glass does not react with oils or essential oils, so it will not change the texture or scent of what you store. Use a clean, dry spatula rather than fingers to scoop products out, and keep jars away from direct sunlight and heat.
Gifting and sampling
Small glass jars make tidy samples and gifts. Add a simple label with the product name, ingredients and date to finish them.
