Cosmetic Jar (100 ml)

This 100 ml cosmetic jar is the largest of the three cosmetic jars, a low Miron violet glass jar with a black screw lid for body balms and richer creams.

Why violet glass

Clear glass lets all light in and amber glass blocks part of it. Miron violet glass blocks almost the whole visible spectrum, which is why it is used for oils and dried plants that are kept on display. Like any glass, it is inert and fully reusable.

What fits in a 100 ml jar

• Body balm or foot balm
• A two-month supply of face cream
• Cleansing balm for the shower shelf
• Whipped shea for hands and elbows

100 ml is double a standard face cream, so it suits body products or a cream you make in larger batches.

Filling and care

Wash by hand in warm soapy water, rinse and let it dry fully before refilling. The colour is in the glass itself and does not wash off. Label the contents and the date, since you cannot see through the glass.
