The details, made clear

Description

Batana oil comes from the nuts of the American oil palm in La Mosquitia, the remote Caribbean lowland of northeastern Honduras, where the Miskito people have processed it by hand for generations. Families gather ripe fruit from wild palms near rivers and lagoons, crack the nuts by hand and free the kernels for their oil. Batana is thick and buttery, golden to deep brown, and often semi-solid at room temperature. This 2oz bottle pairs batana oil with dried resurrection flowers, the desert plant that curls up when dry and opens again with water.
