Elegant Wine Bottle – 500 ml

This 500 ml bottle has the tall shape of a wine bottle in dark violet Miron glass. It suits homemade vinegars, cordials and infused oils, or a half bottle of wine poured off to keep for another day.

Why violet glass

The glass is Miron, a deep violet glass that looks black until you hold it to the light. It stops most visible light from reaching the contents while letting violet light pass. It is non-reactive, holds no odour and can be reused many times.

500 ml is two-thirds of a standard wine bottle, a good size for gifts and for liquids you use within a few weeks.

Filling and care

Wash by hand in warm soapy water, rinse and let it dry fully before refilling. The colour is in the glass itself and does not wash off. Label the contents and the date, since you cannot see through the glass.
