Tea Tree Essential Oil or Tea Tree Oil
Common English Name: Tea tree, ti-tree.
Botanical Name: Melaleuca alternifolia.
Plant Family: Myrtaceae.
Method of Extraction: Steam distillation of the leaves and twigs.
Origin: Australia.
Plant Description: A small tree with needle-like leaves and yellow or purple flowers.
Main Chemical Components: Alcohols and monoterpenes.
Blends Well With: Lavender, lemon, and clove essential oils; also blends with carrier oils.
Uses: Oily skin, damaged skin, dry, flaky scalp and hair, dry skin.
Fun Fact: The Aboriginal people of Australia used tea tree extensively before it was “discovered” by European explorers.
Cautions for Use: Possible sensitivity in some people.

This oil is beautiful! Very lemon-y, and I have noticed the smell overpowers other scents very easily, so just one drop to my projects suffice. The bottle and everything that I have received is packaged neatly and their oil is fresh! Thank you
