Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea tree oil or tea tree lemon oil is generally considered as one of the safest organic essential oils for undiluted use on skin.

Common English Name: Tea Tree Lemon.

Botanical Name: Leptospermum petersonii.

Plant Family: Myrtaceae.

Method of Extraction: Steam Extraction of the leaves.

Origin: Australia.

Plant Description: A fast growing tall shrub/small tree with simple leaves and white flowers.

Main Chemical Components: High in citronellal, citral, and pinene.
