4.1Intellectual property & formulation rights

All specialized recipes, ingredient blending techniques, extraction profiles, trade secrets, and proprietary methods used to manufacture botanical products, organic waxes, and natural oils remain the exclusive property of the originating entity. No intellectual property transfers or licensing terms apply unless explicitly written in an authorized Schedule of Work.

4.2Raw materials & quality assurance

• Sourcing & validationAll raw ingredients, carrier components, and functional botanicals must pass strict quality protocols. Suppliers must present certificates of analysis (COA) for active batches before production begins.
• Batch varianceClients acknowledge that raw organic harvests naturally vary slightly in hue, viscosity, and aroma across seasons. These variances are not manufacturing defects.
• Regulatory guardrailsAll client-supplied formulations intended for distribution channels must adhere to regional cosmetics and dietary supplement labeling guidelines.

4.3Production minimums, lead times & indemnification

• Minimum order quantities (MOQs)Contract manufacturing requires item thresholds set per product group (for example, private label oils or specialty waxes) and outlined at project onboarding.
• Fulfillment lead timesStandard B2B production timelines range from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on raw botanical availability and facility scheduling.
• Mutual indemnificationThe contract partner agrees to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Au Natural Organics against all third-party legal challenges, compliance violations, or product liability claims resulting from client-designed custom formulations, unverified health claims, or independent marketing representations.
